Refactoring is a concept that describes the process of changing a software system. Refactoring fixes the internal structure so that, externally, the system works much better.  It's not about adding new features, but about reconstructing and improving what's already there.

We want to keep improving the New Zealand tech industry by inspiring women (including trans women and non-binary folks) to not only stay in it but get to the top — running teams, in board positions, on the speaker line-ups at conferences, and as visible leaders to inspire an incoming generation.

We will keep moving. We won't stop until our refactoring is done.

In April 2021 we decided to bring the Refactor events to a close. Click here to read more.
